Artist Bio: Skye MacCallum

“Throughout my lifelong love of art, this is my first foray into abstract painting. This body of work uses acrylic paint on canvas, utilizing mixed media techniques in the painting process. This series is an abstract expression rooted in meditative reflection of grief and loss through the purposeful lack of figures or structural elements in the painting to create a myopic atmosphere in order to evoke pareidolia.”
